On successful completion of this programme the learner should be able to :

 (a)Knowledge, understanding, application, analytical and evaluative competencies across a wide range of Music Production and related principles and practices including, production issues, associated recording, editing and mixing techniques, allied technologies, research, the science of sound and acoustics, musicianship, music business interests and Web design.

 (a)A detailed knowledge of both ‘current’ and ‘legacy’ music production methodologies, their associated technologies, and their impact on production practices across a range of genres.
 (b)A familiarity with sources of ‘newly emerging’ music production ideas and concepts.

 (a)The ability to exercise masterful judgment calls on issues of musicality, session management, technology and recording techniques at all stages of a project, from pre-production through to final mix.
