On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Graph and manipulate the common functions of Engineering Mathematics
  2. Use Vector methods to solve problems in Geometry and Mechanics
  3. Estimate the areas of irregular shapes and the volumes of irregular solids
  4. Determine angles, lengths and areas of straight-edged shapes in two and three dimensions
  5. Solve a wide range of algebraic and trigonometric equations

Polynomial, Exponential, Natural and Common Logarithm, Exponential equation, Determination of Experimental Laws
