Module Description:An introduction to building services engineering at undergraduate level
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Be able to quantify energy flows and determine internal conditions within buildings for given external and internal temperatures, solar irradiance, wind conditions and other variables, and to determine building energy use over an extended period
  2. Be able to appropriately size heating, ventilation and air-conditioning and energy generation/storage systems for a given building
  3. Be able to explain the various RE technologies and design, select and commission appropriate systems for a particular building
