On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Identify and critically examine entrepreneurship as a process and explore its role within the community.
  2. Demonstrate a good understanding/empathy of the entrepreneur, new venture formation within the community and the development of sustainable businesses
  3. Demonstrate Entrepreneurial Awareness
  4. Assess the role of creativity and innovation in the life cycle of a business
  5. Undertake research for a feasibility study for a new venture in the community sector
  6. Present and defend their idea
