On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Explain Consumer Protection Legislation,the burden it places upon the trader and the remedies for the consumer
  2. Analyse the concept of Misrepresentation under the Law of Contract.
  3. Summarise the rights protected by the legal rules governing Intellectual Property
  4. Explain the legal rules governing insurance contracts.
  5. Analyse the contract of employment as distinguished from a contract for services and recognise the rights and duties of the employer and the employee.
