On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Explain the sources of Irish Law including the impact of European law as a source and the functioning of Irish legal System.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of the classification and administration of the law.
  3. Explain the rules of contract law and the application of these rules in a business context.
  4. Analyse the principles of the Law of Tort and relevance to business.
  5. Recognise the different forms of business organisation and explain the legal context of running a business.
