Module Description:Students completing this module will appreciate the vital contribution that personal skills and qualities play in their lives and future careers; they will be able to affirm their course option; they will understand elements of personality theory and type based on a DISC Personality Test; they will have experience of applying interpersonal skills through teamwork.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Explain and discuss intelligently the reasoning behind their course option
  2. Appraise their personal skills and the vital contribution that this makes to their lives and careers
  3. Demonstrate interpersonal skills through teamwork
  4. Use reflective skills to learn from their semester performance, particularly personality factors.

Personality Theories and Types
­Explore behavioural issues across the four primary personality types:-Dominance, Influence, Steady, Cautious, (DISC) Identify and understand individual personality types. Other theories.
