Module Description:This module is an introduction to visual communication theory and practical skills. Students completing this module will have created a number of visual pieces dealing with a range of content.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Demonstrate a reflective design development process including defining the problem, research and synthesis of information, development of solutions by testing, evaluation and refinement.
  2. Use design theory in appropriate ways in the creation of visual communication solutions in both 2D and 3D mediums.
  3. Apply visual techniques in an approoriate way to visual communication solutions in both 2D and 3D mediums.
  4. Create a visual piece that communicates a clear visual messages in a professionally presented way.
