Module Description:On completion of this module students will have the knowledge of the different aspects of sound design (web and film) both in the pre and post production stages to produce finished professional sound multimedia.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Capture and prepare sound recordings for use over the Internet and moving image based media
  2. Design interactive and ambient audio content for web sites
  3. Evaluate the technical issues involving film location recording techniques with appropriate attention to health & safety issues
  4. Design sound for various types of moving image media (to include Foley, speech and soundtrack)
  5. Be conversant with the current standard sound design techniques and procedures
