Module Description:This module aims to facilitate students to develop a short animated piece. Working in groups the students will script, develop and animate their project. This module will allow students to investigate and explore their own ideas in a structured fashion within a safe supportive learning environment.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Demonstrate and implement an in-depth understanding of the scope and stages involved in the practical implementation of a major original and unique animated project.
  2. Prepare and present a detailed pitch for an animated short to an industry panel.
  3. Produce a high quality animated short.
  4. Disseminate finished work in the public arena.
  5. Engage in the process of self evaluation and peer review.
