Module Description:Students completing this module will be able to assess the issues involved in and apply appropriate techniques to managing software projects.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to
  1. Discuss the fundamental issues of software project management
  2. Create project plans using appropriate planning techniques
  3. Track Project progress using monitoring and control techniques
  4. Identify common sources of risk in software projects and discuss risk management techniques.

Iteration Planning
Velocity and commitment driven iteration planning
Project monitoring and control
Tracking release and iteration plans - burndown charts, burnup charts, task board
