Module Description: The aim of this module is to equip the student with the necessary communicative skills for working in a French speaking environment and to broaden the students’ understanding of French society and culture.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO1 Speak French readily with precision in relation to grammar, idiom, pronunciation, intonation and fluency.
MLO2 Critically analyse and respond to a variety of written texts and audio-visual material.
MLO3 Evaluate and comment on selected works of cinema and literature both orally and in writing.
MLO4 To apply range of strategies designed to eliminate recurrent errors.
