On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO1 Discuss historical events and critique films and literature from Spain and Latin America.
MLO2 Perform aural comprehension tasks based on advanced material of a specialised nature related to the history, film and literature of Spain and Latin America.
MLO3 Compare, contrast and critically comment, in written Spanish, on aspects of Spanish, Latin American and Irish history, film and literature.
MLO4 Respond appropriately to advanced texts of a specialised nature relating to the history, cinema and literature of Spain and Latin America.
MLO5 Compare, contrast and critically comment on aspects of Spanish, Latin American and Irish history, film and literature.
MLO6 Evaluate the usefulness of various language learning and communication strategies.
