Structure and Role of the Institutions and Status of the EU
European Council, European Commission, Council of Ministers, European Parliament, Court of Justice, European Central Bank, European Court of Auditors, European External Action Service. Tension between Democratic Legitimacy and Democratic Deficit in the EU.
Forms of Action before the Court of Justice of the EU
Principles of EU Law. Failure by Member State to fulfil obligations (Article 258 TFEU); Action for annulment (Article 263 TFEU) and action for failure by an EU Institution to act (Article 265 TFEU); Preliminary rulings (Article 267 TFEU).
Free Movement of Goods
