Module Indicative Content
Theory & Aural Skills
Knowledge of fundamentals of music theory. Understanding key signatures. Major and minor scales. Identification of intervals and triads. Recognition and notation of major and minor chords. Identifying dynamics and expression markings
Keyboard Skills
Major and minor (harmonic) scales. Triads: major and minor, root position. Sight reading treble and bass clef. Performance of a piece of music of suitable ability.
