Module Description: The aim of this module is to introduce an overview of the various fields within the audio industry and the specific requirements of audio professionals within those fields.
 
Module Learning Outcome
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO1 Define the hierarchy of roles that exist within the audio industry.
MLO2 Describe production techniques used in audio workflows; i.e. pick-ups; character FX, environmental audio; music loops; music layers; music stems; stingers; transitions; sonic branding.
MLO3 Appraise the work of one audio professional (i.e. producer, director, sound designer, or game composer), applying the knowledge of audio production theory and the knowledge of audio production technique.
