Module Description: |
Students are challenged to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. This capstone project helps students to master the real challenge of integrating diverse streams of knowledge acquired during their studies, combined with practical, real-world application. Students address the role that technology and digitisation will play in their new venture. They are expected to align their use of technology with their overall business strategy. They will have the opportunity to work as part of a team to improve their analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. A cross disciplinary team will collaborate on the delivery of the module to include mentoring of the teams. The team collaborates with the Regional Development Centre, SOCENT, Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise office to help identify potential projects for National Student Enterprise Awards.
