On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO1 Recognise and discuss the pathology of ageing and its relationship with physical activity in adulthood
MLO2 Discuss the changes in sport and recreational activity apparent in adulthood.
MLO3 Use the principles of group leadership to modify physical activity programmes for adults of varied abilities.
MLO4 Plan, deliver and evaluate appropriate sports and exercise activities for adults in conjunction with recommendations within the LISPA model.

Mountain Skills
Students have the opportunity to extend the skills gained in second year in map reading and to log hillwalking hours that could lead to the Mountain Skills award.
Leadership
Students complete additional problem solving and critical thinking skills that compliment adult group activity leadership.
