Module Description: This two week module will cultivate a clear understanding of the creative process in relation to the creative media area in a collaborative setting. This module will culminate in a live interactive multimedia performance.
 
Module Learning Outcome
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO1 Manage practical knowledge through experiential learning informed by critical reflection.
MLO2 Formulate and apply effective responses to working with media in a variety of collaborative settings e.g creativity, flexibility, spontaneity, openness, sincerity, integrity, humour, interpersonal sensitivity, empathy.
MLO3 Collate practical workshop skills.
MLO4 Act effectively in peer relationships and work as a team member.
MLO5 Assemble creative work with a cross-arts methodology.

Groupwork
The positives and negatives of groupwork, the best practices of working in groups, role-playing and dealing with conflict will be explored.
Creativity
Brainstorming, mind mapping.
Practical skills.
The areas of audio/music, narrative, visuals (both still and moving), interactivity and performance will be explored in creative workshops.
Reflective process
The reflective process will be examined and best practices explored.
