On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO1 Utilise evidence based knowledge and skill of patient or client assessment and consultation to achieve a holistic approach to patient or client care in the prescribing of medical products.
MLO2 Apply expert skills in clinical decision making in relation to prescribing medical products.
MLO3 Demonstrate a critical understanding of pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics and pharmacovigilance.
MLO4 Demonstrate knowledge of the role of the multidisciplinary team and effective communication process involved in safe medication management.
MLO5 Demonstrate skills of critical analysis, problem-solving, decision-making, clinical judgement and reflective skills and abilities to enable them to practice safely in their expanded role in their specific areas of clinical practice.
