Module Description: This module aims to develop a deep appreciation of learner-centred, inclusive approaches to learning, teaching and assessment in Further Education and Training. It explores theories of adult learning and contemporary approaches to learning, teaching and assessment. Learners will apply theory within the context of their own practice to support an evidence-based approach.

Assessment Description
Learners will develop a portfolio that will evidence how the learning outcomes have been achieved. The content will focus on the application of theory and evidence within the learner's own context and practice.
This is a synoptic assesment and is shared with the module pedagogy curriculum and practice in ELC in semester 1 and the module diversity equality and inclusive education in ELC in semester 2
