Module Description: To develop business consultancy skills that are transferable into the business consultancy profession or in internal management positions within organisations. These skills will be enhanced through applied business research and or consultancy practice within an organisation whereby a specific topic will be investigated and a proposal/solution formulated and presented.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Assessment Description
3,000 word report containing an executive summary and recommendations page this will be provided to the employer. Assignments will be marked by the supervisor and a sample of the marking internally moderated. Additional academic guidelines will be given to help students complete this module. This module is completed through independent work based on a topic to be agreed by the student's employer/host and academic supervisor. A business report outlining the analysis and solution to the business proposal agreed with an employer. This will include a reflective summary identifying the student's learning experience throughout this work-based project.
