On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO1 Discuss political events and critique documentary material from Spain and Latin America.
MLO2 Perform aural comprehension tasks based on advanced material of a specialised nature related to Spanish and Latin American political events and documentaries.
MLO3 Compare, contrast and critically comment, in written Spanish, on aspects of Spanish, Latin American and Irish political events and documentary material.
MLO4 Respond appropriately to advanced texts of a specialised nature relating to politics in Spain and Latin America.
MLO5 Compare, contrast and critically comment on aspects of Spanish, Latin American and Irish politics and documentaries on a range of socio-political topics.
MLO6 Maximise the use of linguistic resources to communicate effectively in any situation.
