Module Description: To critically develop students' knowledge and critical thinking skills in a ranger of recovery focused interventions when working with individuals and their family, friends and/or supporters
 
Module Learning Outcome
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO1 Critically discuss the principles and practices of recovery in your workplace with service users and their families and carers.
MLO2 Critically discuss the development of a working therapeutic alliance with service users and their families and carers
MLO3 Critically discuss a range of approaches such as recovery orientated, strengths-based or trauma-informed care when working with service users and their families, carers and/or supporters in specialist mental health nursing practice
MLO4 Critically discuss factors that may help or hinder recovery and critically reflect on one’s own specialist practice in relation to these
MLO5 Critically appraise the role of the Recovery College in relation to caring for an individual throughout the recovery process and their lived experience
MLO6 Critically discuss the importance of community development initiatives, networking and life coaching in relation to the recovery process
