Module Description: This module focuses on giving the student the knowledge and skills that are required to apply many of the theoretical financial concepts they have learned to the practical business situations that they are likely to encounter.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MLO3 Recommend the appropriate sources of finance for each situation
MLO4 Evaluate capital investment projects using several different methods
MLO5 Critically evaluate the role played by proper financial planning and control in the organisation of events
MLO6 Prepare verbal and written reports that explain and justify the decisions they have made and the techniques employed
