MLO4 Evaluate the inclusion of risk as an integral part of a effective youth work process.

Ethics in Youth Work
Explore ethical practice working with young people in a youth work setting.
Implementation
To look at practical implementation of 'risk assessment' processes in the youth work environment.
Analysis of current government policy
Critically evaluate policy and legislation around the prevention, identification and reporting of child protection issues. Duty of Care legislation.
Identification and Recording
Identification, assessment of potential hazards and levels of risk. Proactive responses to same. Importance and process of recording information for best practice.
